Project Overview

The foundation of a high-performance audio-visual system begins long before the first piece of equipment is mounted. This Rio Verde residence required a comprehensive low-voltage rough-in to support a high-fidelity Sonos ecosystem and clean, cable-free display installations throughout the main living areas.

“By prioritizing high-capacity conduit paths during the framing stage, we ensure the home remains technologically agile as display and audio standards evolve.”

01 / Fireplace Media Management

To achieve a flush-mount aesthetic above the primary hearth, we installed high-capacity flexible conduit runs connecting the mantle directly to the centralized head-end equipment rack. This provides a future-proof path for HDMI, fiber, and control cabling, ensuring zero cable visibility.

02 / Sonos Multi-Zone Audio Pre-Wire

The main living area was mapped for a high-fidelity Sonos multi-zone system. Speaker rough-in brackets were secured at optimal acoustic angles, with 14/4 oxygen-free copper speaker wire home-runned to the central equipment closet to guarantee maximum signal integrity and amplifier efficiency.
